About Us
Inspiring all to embrace the joy of skating.
Spokane Figure Skating Club (SFSC), was organized in 1932, and joined U.S. Figure Skating in 1934. We continue to develop successful, well-rounded skaters who achieve their goals on and off the ice. SFSC is also a member of the Pacific Northwest Inter-Club Association.
SFSC has been instrumental in forming ice skating clubs on the Pacific Coast and in Canada. We’ve promoted and participated in all aspects of amateur figure skating. Our skaters have represented Spokane on the U.S. Figure Skating International Team, competing in the United States, Canada, and Europe.
Our membership is mainly from Washington and Idaho, as our home rink, Frontier Ice Arena, is in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, about 30 minutes from Spokane, WA. We also provide skating lessons at seasonal rinks, including Numerica Skate Ribbon in downtown Spokane and CDA On Ice in Coeur d’Alene.
